Planning NYC Wedding from California

I am from California and my fiance and I want to get married in New York City Between December 28th and January 5th..... Any ideas of good locations for an 'elopement' 4-6 people total... also, a hairdresser and makeup artist around the Roosevelt Hotel? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!

What type of place are you looking for and how much are you planning to spend?? I can recommend a ton of places from casual to super elegant. Did you want a sit down dinner, music, dancing? Also, I recommend Alison Rafaelle for makeup in NYC. If you e-mail her she can tell you the best places for hair stylists in the area as well. I live in Manhattan so if I can help you in any way let me know!!! I don't mind a bit.
