Anyone else think about this lately? I felt like up until a month or so ago, I was thinking about my wedding as if it was far, far away. I hear a song that I want to hear during my cocktail hour (we are making a CD for the RH to play) and I thought, ooooh, gotta hear this one. But I thought of it as something I could do later - MUCH later.
All of a sudden, I realized HOLY SHIIIT! I don't have that much time anymore! There are things on my list I must DO soon, like figure out invites. We have to meet with the band next week, and they want to know by Sept who is giving toasts so that they know who gets a mic (and who doesn't hahaha). It's happening NOW.
And it's a little scary, if I do say so.
Anyone else?

I'm kind of in that mode of thinking I can take a break right now...but the other day it dawned on me that I'm about 6 months away...still have some time...but it's creeping up on me. I def. got a lot done...but I don't want to get to cocky and then scramble the month before.

i have to say i never had that moment....because i'm insane...but i had to make it clear to Dave...that there ARE NO MORE TOMORROWS to do things....that took a little convincing to him....

yeah - I only have 15 days to go so A LOT of things are getting nixed.
I just can't be bothered - I don't want to stress anymore than I have.
I have so many other things to worry about.
And i'm pretty much freaking the freak out. I have to move my entire office before the wedding. I haven't even gone for my first fitting yet and am contemplating cancelling my bachelorette party b/c I have so much to do.

well im just under 6 months so i feel like its close but at the same time i still feel like we have so much time.....i think that once august/september hits it will go a lot quicker for me - i just want the day to be here already! i want to be his wife - and i want to cut my hair j/k

I was thinking like that too.. My FH was telling me that I was doing things wayyy to early, but now, here we are 3 months away from the wedding and I still never met with the baker yet for my cake... I should have never lisened to him because now I am swamped with things to do, yet I am still here!

Yeah I know what you mean. That kinda happened to me around April...my 4 month mark. Mostly it was so stressful because I was having a lot of trouble with my teeth/wisdom teeth so it put everything on hold. But once I was feeling better, I really got on the ball with stuff. I'm getting it done but it's surreal that I only have 2 months left. My MOH and 1 of my bm's have been absolutely great helping me out. I know the other bms will be there for me it's just that we don't see each other very often. It's really nice to know that I can count on my girls and FH! It makes it so much easier on me!!

And I totally thought your wedding was 6/21. You probably FREAKED when you got my FM, huh???
Please do not cancel your bachelorette party. What do you have to do? Can I help with anything??? I have no plans Friday night and can do whatever you want me to ....

Jen I know EXACTLY what you are going through. I thank GOD that we are going to PA next weekend. We need to finalize SOOO MUCH. Caterer, tuxes, limos, flowers, video...the list goes on andd on. It's makign me very nervous. Last time we went, I brought my MOH and Fh had a free day all to himself to play. They'll be no playing next weekend...it's gonna be WEDDING, WEDDING, WEDDING...we're gonna be so sick of wedding stuff...HAHA

Yeah, it finally hit me this month that we don't have much time left and there is still a lot to do! I keep saying when we get into the house I'll do more, but the house keeps getting delayed!

we finalized our songs for the DJ this week. i couldnt believe it...i had found a list from a while ago where there were a bunch of songs i had heard and jotted down as ideas.
my TO DO list is ACTUALLY gettting shorter. all ideas i have now are ones that are ACTUALLY going to be used...not just fun brainstorming ideas.

I was a really big procrastinator I waited til the very end for alot of things. It comes so fast, and it hits you all at once.
The final week before is so nuts, there is just so much running around and last minute stuff that has to be done.

oh yeah - same here. It is annoyiong that others keep telling me you have so much time don't worry - granted 98% of our planning is complete. Now there are little items to complete and I do not want to be running around right before our day to tie up loose ends - besides we have so many wonderful events to attend most weekends that I need to finish when we have time.

I was less stressed about the major things. It's all of the little things that are making me more nervous. All of a sudden I feel like there is no time left.
I had something to do every weekend for the past month or so up until this past weekend. And, now I have plans for the next couple of weeks...and then that's 4th of July weekend! I expect after that to probably have to start making follow up appointments...probably a dress fitting, girl's dresses, my mother's dress. Taking care of my invitations between all of this is pretty important at this point! Oh, and favors. This is pretty much what keeps going through my head and giving me a nervous stomach! The summer is going to fly!

tell me about it!!! I started doing things so early and everyone kept saying..'oh you have time' and now i feel like i'm really under the gun!!! just under 5 months to go now and i feel crazy!!!! and it's all the little things that everyone said 'i had time for' ..lol.
