I haven't taken pictures there, but have been there a lot. It's very pretty. I've seen a lot of girls' pictures that were taken at Planting Fields and they came out great. They have a lot of flowers, trees, nature, etc. and also beautiful buildings, fountains, statues.
I just took my engagement pictures there. I had my heart set on taking them there because I love the way pictures come out, especially for a wedding. I think it's beautiful! If you do a search on here, you'll find pictures. There are a few brides who have taken pictures there.
if you decided on them. call them they will send you the application for ther permit . then you just have to go there (or maybe mail it in - not sure if you can or not) and they will send you the permit. they dont limit the # of parties that can be taking pictures there on any given day. but what i heard from a friend that took them there was that you just wait for a spot or go to another while you wait. the permit is $120
I think I am taking wedding pictures here. I am getting married at Fox Hollow and my photographer has taken pictures at the planting fields before so he suggested it. I didn't know I needed a permit though I should get on top of that!!!!
