I plan on looking at the Planting Fields Arboretum this weekend because I love some of the wedding pictures that have been posted from there. For brides who have taken pictures there, is the walk to the buildings far from the parking lot? Do they let you drive up to the buildings? If anyone took pictures in the morning and before the ceremony, was the ground very wet and did it ruin your dress and/or shoes? Thanks for the advice.

Re: Planting Fields Arboretum
I LOVE it there but its in the other direction from where we need to go.
The buildings are really right next to each other. There is the HUGE main house. The different sides alone look like you went to 4 separate mansions. The blue pool is 50 feet from the main house. The great lawn is the back yard to the main house, the pink doll house is right next to the pool house and one of the greenhouses is on the other side of the pool house. Along with the rose arbors which lead up to the pool house.
The big greenhouse is across a small road/walk way so u can deff walk there and the tree arbor and dahlia garden are right outside that. The only thing out of the way are really just the main gates (I don't think there operational yet) and the hay barn. But even those are easily accessible.

I wanted to take my photos there (my FH & I have had memorable dates there) but now the ceremony is too far.
