I would def get it, want a nose job, a boob job, porcelain veneers. I really want the porcelain veneers, then the nose job, then the boob job.

Re: Plastic Surgery?
I've HAD plastic surgery. I had a boob job back in 1997. Reduction. I had the biggest boobs this side of Hoochie Holler.

Re: Plastic Surgery?
I've absolutely considered plastic surgery for after I'm done with the baby having and when I start looking old.
I'm willing to save up for and be satisfied with just a tummy tuck after the babies the rest I can take care of myself with diet and exercise, but boy, if I had unlimited resources I would definitely get lipo at some point, a boob lift (thanks again pregnancy!), and later on, I would probably get an eye job or a face lift if needed.

afterI have my babies, if my boobs need a lift, I'll do a lift, but not implants. The lady who plays the wife on Everyone Loves Raymond did a breast lift with no implants.

After I have children! I've seen what happens to your belly and boobs
I always say I just want my body to look the way it does now. I'd get a boob job or just a lift depending on what I need, maybe a tummy tuck if needed and while your there perhaps some lipo on my thighs.
I don't think I'd do anything to my face. Maybe a peel or something in my 50's.

Really - I didn't think you could do a lift without implants?! I would totally do that.

It depends on how big you are to begin with.

Re: Plastic Surgery?
I had a Boob Job done in Aug 2000, and I hate them now! I had a baby last year and they swelled to a 34F (mind you I am 5ft 4in. tall and normally weigh only 112-115 pounds). and now 1 year post baby I am a 34DD almost DDD and they are slightly saggy now (i am only 25). Needless to say at this point I am disgusted with them and feel that I am going to look like a joke in my wedding dress. I am terribly self concious, and have decided that I am going to get my implants removed and my natural breasts reduced to a 'B' cup. I have a consult appts with a 3 different plastic surgeons in the next 2 months, unfortuneately since I am only 3 months and a few days away from my wedding date I will probably have to wait until after my wedding do proceed with the surgery (godforbbid something goes wrong or I am not fully recouperated yet). My advice to anyone considering implants - wait until you are old enough to really make a long term decision like that and wait until you are finished having children if you have anything larger than an A-AA cup (naturally).

Just a question..What size were you before and after the surgery? Just wondering what size you were before the pregnancy that you swelled up to that big, so I know what I might possibly face when I have kids!

Right. When they do a 'lift' they are removing breast tissue and skin, so you cant stay the same size as you were pre-lift without having an implant placed.

Breast reduction (although FH would kill me).
hey, I did it!!! It was the best decision of my life. I went from a 40G (DDDD) to a 38D when I was 20 years old. I'm not a thin girl, so I didn't want to go smaller than a D, but I'm SO HAPPY with the results. Again, it was the BEST decision of my life! (even better than choosing FH, 'cause this was for ME, and I've never done anything that great for myself.)
Thats so good for me to hear right now.....since I am actually going in for one on Tuesday! I am only a DD and am going down to a C.....I can't wait!
I had an implant in one boob to even them out...I had a C+ and a C- which were extremely noticable. Wouldn't do it again~now that I have a baby and they grew even bigger, they are uneven again!!!

Re: Plastic Surgery?
Sorry I did not reply sooner this is going to be a long post, so I apologize but here goes:
I was a natural C and silly 20 year old me wanted to be bigger and rounder, He used 480cc Implants which increased me to a 34DD and now after my son I am a 34DDD (or a 36DD-depends on the bra) Nothing fits and I hate theese 'melons' with a passion! I look totally ridiculous - I am small framed (5'4' and 115 lbs) so they make me look heavy ontop and probably weigh about 06 lbs total.
I went to see Dr. Greenberg on Tuesday for a consult and I was horrified at my experience.
Let me just precede this by saying I work in the medical field and have for the last 7 years. I work in a hospital and have never seen anything like this with the exception of a emergency room visit, not ever!
I waited for an hour and 15 minutes in his waiting room (which not to mention was packed like a freakin sardine can) several (at least 4) people that came in after me were taken in before me. One of the other couples walked out because they were so mad. I mean I know he is supposed to be a 'good' surgeon, but that does not justify treating your patients like cattle! His office staff was not very helpful, kind of snotty, and the ones that weren't were so fake I wanted to laugh! Anyway, he was nice but gives the weakest most pewney handshake I have ever seen (not a good sign) and to top it all off was only in the room with me for like -5 minutes, tells me to see his 'financial advisor' Mary and she proceeds to tell me $9000 please. My A@#, after all that - forget it, especially when I originally wrote and email stating my case and that my insurance will cover a 'reduction' and that I really don't have that much money to just throw away on this surgery especially since I am funding my own wedding. He emails me back and says come in anyway for the consult leading me to believe that there would possibly be some sort of payment plan or something similar!
Basically, I wasted my time, left work early, drove all the way to woodbury from Stony Brook, and then back to shirley (where I live) for nothing! You could not pay me to go to him now! That irratated me to no end
Thus I am going back to my original surgeon in Port Jeff to see what he will do for me on July 18th !!

480 cc implants on someone of your size who was already a C??? That is way too big, and that is not your fault, the Dr. should have easily been able to anticipate that you would wind up too big if you had told him that you didnt want to go that large. Most surgeons will not place an implant that big in anyone anymore, but a lot has changed in the past few years in terms of that. I am sorry that you had a bad experience there. I had my surgery by him, and although I felt the same as you did about the office staff, they are really not that friendly and I think if he changed that aspect people would be much happier going there. As far as his behavior, that is so is typical of a surgeon, that is just how they are. It is totally wrong, I fully agree, but working in the medical field myself, I know how arrogant some surgeons are, thats why I choose not to work in a surgical department, I would kill them! Everyone has thier own opinion and I fully respect everyone elses, but I know that you cant go to Greenberg for that 'warm fuzzy feeling', but if you want good results he is the man. Fortunatly for us, we live in an area where there are a lot of good surgeons and we have plenty to choose from, so if you dont like on Dr. there are much more to choose from. Good luck and I hope that you find one that is right for you. Keep us updated.

i absolutely agree.. he is an incredible surgeon, but youre not going to get that 'warm fuzzy feeling' , but youll get great results, i went with him because of his experience and the work ive seen of him, i didnt let any of that other stuff bother me, i think the girls are pretty nice at the desk, but thats just my opinion and i have never waited in that office for more than 10 minutes, i am always taken in, even right from my consultation, that was one thing i loved about going there, but its funny, i was there on tiuesday too for my checkup and i waited for a long time this time, guess he was backed up. i was there on tuessday around 6 or so and it was packed more than usual.
GOOD LUCK with whoever you choose and the surgery
