Does it matter if you wear these two metals together? Will they rub against each other in a bad way? I heard mixed things about combining the two together.

I have a white gold e ring and a platinum band. So far I havent had any problems.

Just make sure to keep your gold band in good condition. I've seen people who have this, but allow the white gold band to tarnish (yellowish as most white gold does) and it looks odd next to the white platinum. Make sure to get it dipped every 6 months or so.

yeah i know a very reasonable dipper in the diamond district so this isnt an issue
