someone talk sense into me before I write a massive email to my family and friends canceling this wedding.....


doesnt mean i dont wanna marry FH, I love him, dearly, but you know what? I almost don't want my family to see it after all the crap theyve been giving me all day.

I've been there too. I can't tell you how many time in the past few months I told FH 'let's forget everything, get married at city hall and just go on the honeymoon.' Hang in there, it'll all work out and you're going to have an amazing day!

I've been there. Family Crap is terrible. It's taxing and completely unwanted always.

Just go home, be with FH, have a couple drinks, order some food and maybe cry it out with him. Being with him will make you feel better!!!

Just wait. Give everything a couple days. It will be MUCH better!

im trying really really really hard. im out of work at 10 and going to the book store. then maybe in the pool. i dont even wanna see my FILs tonight (even though they havent said anything yet to me). im just in no mood for it.

and really, could have this come when I didnt have my period so i didnt feel like this was the end of the world????? i usually dont handle things like this

don't worry - you will pass over this little hurdle and end up with a wonderful wedding!

don't cancel the wedding reception ..... or at least, not on a whim!

I think you should write the email or even a letter-BUT DON'T SEND IT!!! It could be very therapeutic to get it out of your system, so to speak.

Also, I agree with laying low. Forget the BP, forget the family. Plan your wedding for you and your FH. It's so sad that weddings really bring out the worst in some people, but since you still want to marry your FH, then DO NOT cancel your wedding for all of the people who are causing you drama. KEEP planning your wedding for the two people who matter most - you two!!!
