please answer asap so i know by tomorrow

hi everyone i have a question to ask you -- i have the almond boxes all bought to stuff my favor cones and i wanted to make a day out of doing that all on sunday but someone mentioned that it might go bad if the box is already opened and done and the wedding is the end of september -- i just wanted to get that out of the way and then start later wrapping my favor gifts and then doing other things in the month of august --- please let me know if its an okay thing so i can just do it-- at this point i really dont care if it goes stale when they get it ..... thanks

I used to work in a candy store way back when. If you keep them in a cool, dry place such as a basement or garage, you'll have no problems!

Can you call the candy company for more info? You mean Jordan almonds, right?

From a Google search:

12 months when stored away from sunlight in a cool, dry place

Up to five mos., but 2-3 mos. is optimal

As you can see, the answers conflict with each other. But even the shorter time frame appears to work with your timing. Storage conditions appear to matter as well.
