Please be honest!! day of Pic location...

so i had my heart set on dowling vanderbuilt mansion to take my wedding pics. cuz its supposed to pour so i wanted a really pretty indoor location.. well that was all squash when i called and you must be a graduate in order to take pics there!

so i've been racking my brain for other ideas and this is the best i can come up with but im loving the idea! i just have to call and see if they will allow it!

I love it there.. after FHs cousin got married there 2 years ago i wanted to get married there also but FH didnt like it. but i think it would make for some AMAZING pics!

i wouldnt want them to close, i want the pics of us in there with the public! just think it would make for a special touch!

thanks!! i thought it was really cute.. my mom.. eh.. not so much! im just really worried about the rain and want to have a back up just incase and OWG is the total opposite direction

It's not my style. I wouldn't say cheesy though...just not my thing.

My only concern for you would be getting out there. Sometimes, especially in the summer it's a pain to get out to riverhead on a summer weekend....ya know? Make sure you have time if you do it!!

PS - If you DO go there I want some awesome action shots of you swimming with stingrays, etc.

That's definately different and a great idea! I love you! You'll have pics. like nobody else!

I love it meg...i have 2 concerns....

Is the general public going to cooperate...ppl constantly walking in front of the camera, waiting to get shots? If you allow enough time, i think u can do it!

Also, lots of small childrena nd people who dont watch where they are going, I would hate for ppl to walk on your dress, even tho its bustled!

But i loooove the idea, its unique!

I do have time its only about 20-25 min from the RH and my CH doesnt start till 7 and church will be done by 330.. so i think ill be fine.. its really just incase its raining. if its nice im not going.
