I really wanted to have maps designed for my guests because I have a lot of OTT'ers that are scared of Long Island. Also, I find that while on the road it would be better to have an understanding of where things are.
The prices to make these maps were veryyyyy high and I wanted to be able to tweak it myself. They always add on if you want to add another location and I didn't think they'd get the detail down as close as I want.
So I made this map.
I edited out a lot of details, but what do you think?
I think it is great! You really did a great job on doing it!!! Can I hire you??

I tried drawing it about three times.
Then I switched to doing it on the computer.
I know roads very well for my job so I went with my knowledge but also checked out maps to make sure the different intersections.
It wasn't too hard and I see that companies charge SOOOOO much for it!

I love how simple it looks!
I'm one of those idiots who gets confused as to what the names of roads are once it crosses the Nassau-Queens border, so I'm glad you included those details

The map looks great. I love the icons for the church and the reception etc at the bottom. Very cute!
