As of Friday the price of 1 gallon of regular gas is expected to go up to $4.00. Just giving every one a heads up

Just out of curiousity, why would you pay the extra $ for full serve when you can pump it yourself? Did you at least get your oil checked and wind shield cleaned?

It just really makes you feel like parking up your car and not driving anymore.

Re: Please do this before 9-2-05
I just came back from the gym. My gym is near a HESS gas station....can I tell you the line of cars! I need gas, so after the gym I sat in lines. Then since I rarely carry cash and always use my credit card at the pump I had to wait because the machines were taking FOREVER AND A DAY to process. My car uses premium and only premium gas, so the guy behind me sees me pumping premium and freaks out! 'Is there anymore regular? Are they out? Are they out?'. (freak!)... ummm..no! Then I overheard another guy saying that HESS and one other gas station were the only ones around with $2.99 regular. It looked like mass hysteria!

Yes, But I had no other options. That's all they offered. My light was on and I didn't want to call triple A

OMG! On the way home from work today, every gas station I passed had lines, even the ones with over $3 a gallon. It's crazy!

The reason why gas is going to go up is the main port that imported our oil has been severely damaged by the hurricane and they are looking to repair it ASAP, but it won't be soon enough to prevent gas prices from going up to $4 or more/gallon.
