....but to all the non 9/03 brides please note you are more than welcome here but this board was to be dedicated to the 9/03 brides who reached 1000 posts a few days ago. Much like the May brides sowwy chowwy

I actually think that having a board for the whole year is better. Then more information can be gathered and additional resources will be provided for everyone.
I realize September brides worked very hard for this one and I applaud you guys, but honestly, can you imagine having 12 boards/year for each of the years that weddings occur? Nothing would be posted on the main board and it would be counterproductive.

I don't mean to offend anyone and just expressing my opinion.

So curly, is this board for all of us or not?? I'm confused now.

I do know that Curly and the 9/03 gang just got 1000 posts and I HOPE this is a board just for them.
Simply b/c they have soooo many 9/03 Brides and they could use their own central area, just like us May brides do. When 9/03 expires, then it can be handed down to the other months that reach this accomplishment. I think this was meant as a prize for the 1000 posts, like it was to us, and they deserve it. JMO

Replied to add: that many non May 2003 brides come by and visit our May board, and are always welcome. I'm sure it would be the same case here.

Lizlen, I actually agree more with Lisat's post on the BHB board, but segmenting the community we effectively limit our resources. I never visit the may or the '04 boards, so if a question is asked there, someone may not get my help, but they'll get it on the bhb board, b/c I read it often.

I don't want to have a need to post my question on 5 different boards just to get opinions.

alina, when we want major opinions, we go to BHB board. What we post in May Brides, is mostly timeline stuff that will probably only apply to May Brides. and also we basically chat amongst ourselves, which would crowd up the BHB board.
I think that is what the September ladies were trying to do here.
Our May board serves as a resource for us b/c of our common factor. It doesnt matter if non May Brides do NOT come on our board, but they are always welcome. Everyone on our board goes on BHB board just as much as before, we give our opinions whenever we can, and ask many questions as well.
So what I'm saying is they reached their 1000 posts, and this was their prize, or so I thought. Now since there are soooo many of them, they could work together to organize themselves with their timeline. If you peek at our May board you will see most of our stuff is TIME related. WE have month to month to do list, etc. .. Things we could not clog up the BHB board with.
I hope this sheds a little bit of understanding. I certainly did not want to start a debate, LOL

If it was just for the September brides, would the name of the board be September, just like the May board is called May?
