Please everyone read this.....
Ok, so I go to the Hicksville post office on Thursday night with my invitation to get weighed. I have the guy weigh it twice on different scales. He tells me .60 for the invite--so purchase 110 stamps. I go home and get all invitations done. Working like a maniac to make the stamp is straight....etc....
So, Friday comes along and we go back to Hicksville post office to mail them. We get up to the counter and I give the lady all my boxes of invites all done out perfectly. I ask her to just double check that they are .60. Well.............she says 'Oh these are .83.'![]()

What??????????????? Could you believe that? So she showed my the .23 stamp that I had to go on the invite and it was ugly--I wouldn't even want to use it to mail my credit card bill. So I had to buy the matching .37 love stamp to my .60 love stamp. We stood there and I neatly placed it next to the .60 stamp.
BUT could you imagine if I did not ask for the lady to weigh them again. I mean they weighed them four times!!! If I just dropped them in the mail with the .60 they would have come back to me all marked up and my envelopes would have been ruined and not to say very late!!!
Please lady, double triple check your postage.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
