Ok my MOH's dress was discontinued so we had to find something else. Would this look really bad if she wore the sleeved dress with my dress and the other BM dress all posted. #1 is mine #2 is the other BM and #3 is MOH
i personally would go with straps more similar to your dress...

Thanks...she is a bigger girl (very self concious about her weight but won't do anything about it) and it has been like pulling teeth to get one that she will wear period. She picked that one today but I don't know about the sleeves with everyone being sleeveless

I know how you feel...I have MOH dress drama as well. She was OK with original dress you picked that had no sleeves, right? Why not show her some pictures of the dresses you like and see what she says....

understood. yeah, people who have bigger arms tend to want to cover them up... tough call, but i think in the end she should then go with what she feels most comfortable....
ETA: would she consider straps with a shawl?

My MOH is also a tad bit heavy and she's self conscious about her arms being bare. The other girls in my BP are thin and I want them to wear strapless. I left it up to my MOH what she wanted to wear. The same dress as the girls but have her wear a shawl, or pick out a totally different gown that she feels comfortable wearing, but in the same color as the others. That way, she'll be set apart from the bridesmaids also.

I don't mind her wearing a different dress, but I just didn't know how the sleeved one would look with the other strappy dresses. She is really stressing me out.

I don't think it would look horrible- did she consider some thicker straps where she may not feel so lost for example- I am going to attempt to attach some pics:
