Please help!!!!

I posted this on the BHB board, but thought I would repost here.....

I was originally going to do red BM dresses for my wedding, but now I see everyone doing red, so I was thinking of either peach, yellow or a rose color. Considering 2 of my BM's are dark haired with dark eyes and olive toned, one is pale and brunette and the other two are pale and blonde, which color do you think will look best? I was leaning towards rose and peach because it's not seen very often, but I just saw some beautiful dresses in yellow now! Augh!!

Also FH and I have a tight schedule between our ceremony and CH/Reception which means if we want to take photos, we will have to miss our CH, something neither of us wants to do. It was suggested we take pictures before the ceremony. Being traditional, I'm not crazy about the idea, but it also means we have a lot of options for locations. Also FH likes the idea of outside photos. Anyone recommend any good places to take photos between either Hauppauge and Mineola? (I'd rather keep it between our house and the reception location)

HI, I think any color you choose will work nice. Who cares how many other brides are using red. This is YOUR wedding. Pick what color you want to choose. Personally as a fair skinned, blonde, I wouldn't want to wear a yellow dress, but I think rose or peach would look really nice on all your girls. Do a search on here for those colors and you may pull up some brides that have pics that used those colors.

Not sure if these places will work, but you can take pics at CW Post gardens, really nice there (in Brookville). There's also a number of parks off Montauk Hwy (in Babylon, Massapequa). I'm sure too your photographer could help you out there.

I like the rose color the best esp with the coloring of your girls I think that blonds look washed out in peach and dont usually look good in yellow -
and this is my personal thing I wount take pic's before hand - but many people do

Thanks all, I narrowed down the colors between rose/mauve and red...figure I would let the girls decide although one brought up coral.

As for locations, I spoke today with Twelth Night and I have an appt scheduled for next week, and they suggested Old Westbury Gardens. Does anyone know the cost for taking photos there or any other major park or mansion for that matter?
