Please help...

If you are inviting children is the proper way to address them on the inner envelope?

Who is doing this or has done this? I'm sorry to continue on with this but FH and I are having a disagreement. He said addressing people on the inner envelope looks bad. I really have to get my spreadsheet ready to send to inkspun so they can print the envelopes for me...I have to mail my invitations out within the next two-three weeks.

I don't know if this was proper or not, but I just went along and did things my way.... On the outer envelope, I addressed it like this for example:

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and Children

or

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith and Sons

Hope that helped. Probably not because I keep finding out that everything I have done is not keeping with tradition or being proper, lol.
