ok so I know a large part of this is my fault ..I didnt order my dress untill august ...I know I should have ordered it sooner and if I hadnt been so budget concerned i would have....when I ordered my dress I was told 12 weeks...that takes me to mid nov....well now it may not be here till mid dec...that makes me insanely nervous......I have lost alot of faith in bridal shop....they can refund my money but will I be able to get a new dress in time??

Is there any way you can contact the designer directly? Make sure your order was placed, etc?

You still would have 2 months before if it comes in mid- december.. but are you nervous it wont come in even mid-dec? I think you should try off the rack FIRST before you return it.. like find something you really like then get your refund, this way u have a back up

Oh dear God - i'm sorry....
Okay - are you okay with buying off the rack? If you go to somewhere like Kleinfelds you may be able to get a better quality (not as thrashed) dress...
I got mine off the rack - but I got it in PA & there's NOTHING wrong with it.
I'd be more than happy to go with you out there if you want - and i'm sure Amanda could meet us there - she lives right near the shop!!!

I am sure u will be fine...if its in in Dec, you get fitted 2-3 times before the wedding i am sure you will be ok!! if not i will go down there and start some sh!t!! i am already pissed at them!!
I will have my first bridezilla moment and its not even about my wedding!!!!

she told me it would be no problem for a refund....at this point not much I can do I have lost weight since I ordered it and plan on losing more which is why I went with the smaller size ....however they took it upon themselves to order it bigger ......

Im not so much upset about it coming in dec its just the amount of faith lost ...you gave me the wrong date...ordered the wrong size......UGH lol...oh well I will figure out how to make the best of everything

I don't think I understand the problem. I also ordered my dress aug 31 and am not expecting it until mid December and I think my wedding is 2 weeks before yours. If they know when your wedding is wont they carry out the fittings more quickly? SHould I be worried too?

prob not ...I know december is fine...just that its not what I was told...and that they ordered it way to big .....

I dunno, youre going to chance losing a dress that you love and searched months for b/c of the shop?? Don't cheat yourself!!! They can easily alter it I'm sure.

I see. We rely on these people, give them thousands of dollars and expect to get what we are told. THey are so desensitized to the amount of money we spend and the anxiety that most brides have. SHame on them for not being more nurturing and reliable.
