Please Help!!!!!!!

I'm helping my best friend plan her wedding and we're having a hard time finding a venue. She is of Haitian decent and most of her guests are Haitians and some of them are coming straight from Haiti. She would like to have Haitian food serve at her wedding reception, but we're having a hard time finding a nice venue that caters Haitian food. We are looking into renting a venue and have a Haitian restaurant cater the wedding. Does anyone know a nice venue that charges a site fee or a venue that she can rent to have the reception that would allow her to have a restaurant cater her wedding?

She will be willing to have the reception anywhere in the Tri-state area and on Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk County)

We actually went to a vineyard this weekend through a contest from LIW and they rent u the whole, one wedding at a time and u can hire an outsider catering facility. The place is GORGEOUS! It has a lovely view to the vieyards and if u want u can have the ceremony there too. The place is called Martha Clara. I believe u can google them. In one of my folders from my profile u'll find a whole bunch of pics from the trip.

We had about 85 people. (holds 100) - Really pretty room...

We catered it ourselves and the Knights of Columbus provided an open bar at about $10 a person, the hall rental was about $500.

We were in the room downstairs. There is a larger room upstairs, but I am not sure if you can have an outside caterer for the upstairs room
