please help!

Would you please help me make a list for my MOH... Im so frustrated with her I can't even do this.

Background: There isnt a bridal party. Just her an a BM. My dad is paying for my shower bc I have no mom and no bridal party.

I still need flowers, my dress, her dress, a junior bridesmaid-type dress. I also have a bunch of DIY projects that I want to do. There are a ton of shower things she can do. Because she hasn't been at all interested my SIL in CT has been planning details.

What are some things that I can list for my MOH to do/help with? Apparently she can't google a MOH duties and it was suggested to me to provide her with a list. I've told her things verbally but that is also apparently not enough... joy

Re: please help!

Ask her to go to appointments with you for vendors?
since your dad is paying, ask if she could contribute the shower games/favors?

the shower isn't for a while, so I would think the things she could do immediately to help would be to go to vendor meetings, take notes, go dress shopping with you to find bm dresses, and work on helping you organize things.

HTH!

Re: please help!

She should go with you to all your appointments with vendors if FH is not available.

She can help you register, plan a bachelorette party,
dress shop with you (for you and for BP), help with your DIY projects, help you choose a color scheme, and help with your shower details.

C'mon MOH, step it up!

The dress help she definitely can help with. One of my BM's has also been attending showcases with me. Luckily, she's a bride too, so she likes to look at stuff even though she's already booked.

We're supposed to have a list?

My MOH lives in FL, but I didnt think there was anything for her to do besides plan the bachelorette, help at the shower, and then help me out the weekend of. Am I too laid back?

It's all about expectations as I had posted a few weeks ago. My MOH lives in FL (my sister) and she has never been a MOH before so she is clueless.

I guess I would expect her, due to distance, to help organize and invite people to my shower, pay for some of the shower, come visit once for BM dress shopping, and just be supportive overall.

You need to let her know that you want her involved and appreciate whatever she can do!
