I have a three tiered veil right now--a blusher for the church, fingertip for the reception and cathedral length for the church and first dance. I love the veil, but I am thinking of not using the blusher and using the fingertip as the blusher. My only concern is that the lady at the wedding salon is telling me that the fingertip veil to wear as the blusher might be too long (I personally do not think so). The reason that I do not want to wear the blusher is that when I pull it back my veil looks so high! and I do not think it looks good. I think just having the fingertip and cathedral will be fine. Anyone using the fingertip as blusher? Thanks!

Sorry, the reason the lady at the wedding salon said it would be too long is that it would get in the way of the flowers--but I just saw luven27 (i think that is her screen name) pics from her 4/17 wedding and she had a fingertip and it looked great!

I'm only wearing a cathedral, so I can't help you there. But from recent experience with opinionated seamstress'/sales people - if you want something, stay firm with it. Do not let them push you into doing something you don't want, b/c of their opinion.

yes, i was going to say it was b/c of the flowers, but, I'm sure you could work around that.
as a side note, ymt brother saw me try on my cathedral veil & not knowing about blushers & all, said its so long, how are you goignto put that over your face! now THAT is too long to use as a blusher--but yours, should be fine!

I'm wearing a two tiered fingertip length veil with one of the tiers over my face. I don't think it's too long, it's fine.

That's fine. Besides it's your wedding you should do what you want. Don't let some seamtress tell you what you should do

I have a 2 tiered finger tip veil and a cathedral veil. I am wearing one of the fingertip tiers as my blusher. The salon that I went to actually suggested that I do this.

Yes, I am. I'm having a fingertip and a cathedral veil and i think they look very pretty together. The women at Bridal Reflections actually suggested it to me and never mentioned a blusher.
