PLEASE HELP! Anyone with back problems..know a good doctor?

I've been in 2 car accidents and I have a pretty messed up back, herniated disks, pinched nerves. it's so bad that I miss so much work and school and I lost my scholarship b/c of too mnay incompletes. I don't even know how I can finish college anyway, even if I cna figure out how to finish my last semester. For the past week the pain has been so bad I can hardly get out of bed, I'm in bed about 22 hours/day, the pain is so unbearable. I've tried chiropractic, trigger point injections, massage, electro stim, pysical therapy. I go to a neurologist. I think I just need someone who will really help me and realized that it's been a year and half since the second accident and I'm only getting worse. I need some answers. I'm only 22. I used to be a dnacer b4 all this happenned and now I gained about 60 lbs since the first accident 3 years ago. PLEASE let me know if you have any ideas of doctors or treatmesnt..I'm at my wits end completely. My checking acct is even completely overdrawn b/c I can't wor enough to pay my bills and the doctor copays are piling up. PLEASE help! or ask around! TIA!

My mom just had major back surgery - I think her Doctors name is Dr Leon in Patchogue.
I saw what she went through and I know how horrible it can be to have back problems.

Would you consider acupuncture?

I know a GREAT Chiropractor. He is more on the medical side than the alternative medicine side, but he is fantastic. His name is Dr. Ira Fisher, and he is on Post Ave in Westbury.

I think you are near this neurologist - he is in Freeport & Garden City...Dr. Michael Brisman

I had a herniated disc and was on bed rest for 1 month - vicodin, phy. therapy the works...

I had microsurgery w/ him at Winthrop -
Surgery was in the afternoon, went home the next morning.
Felt so much better - had the staples out 1 week later & 3 days after that, on a plane to Florida

I still had rehab in NY, but my mobility increased & pain was gone...

Reg. disc surgery has a longer reovery rate -this was called a MICRODISCECTOMY

FM me if you want more info.
