Ok FH wants me to send out invites today. We are getting married Sept 22 with our RSVP at August 25. We are getting married in a State where we do not live in nor does anyone on our guest list. So everyone has to travel. So I do want to make sure everyone has enough time to make travel arrangements. Is this to early? TIA

now is good -but a week or two won't hurt. your send-by date should be july 11th, which gives guest 6 weeks to respond.

The more notice you give your guests, the better, IMO.

I think that is fine. Everyone has to travel so they have to make arrangements, travel plans, and save money so it is never really too early.
