Please help! Bachelor/bachelorette party last weekend (long)
My FH and I both had our parties this weekend
The boys went to Hooters and then to VIP which is a strip club- I was fine with it at first - but now I find that I just can't get past the idea of naked women dancing around my honey. It doesn't help that friends are telling me some of the details.
The girls ended up at a stip club too - but I found the experience funny rather than erotic - but I know men are different and I just can't get over this jealousy - I couldn't sleep last night-just thinking of it.
Please help me get over this! I know I'm being unreasonable...Has anyone else had a problem with this?

Only you know whether or not you have a reason to feel this way. If you know that he would never do anything to hurt, upset, or embarass you then you should just forget about it. My FI recently went to a bachelor party and I went through the same thing. I was ok about it until after the fact. I was upset for several days and then realized that I know he would not do anything to hurt me so I should just stop thinking about it. I forgot about it. If you feel that there is cause for you to feel this way then I would just tell him that you are uneasy and explain why.

Thank you so much for responding -
He wouldn`t do anything to hurt me - Its just that in the 4 years I`ve known him, he`s never been to a place like that - or done anything else to make me feel this kind of jealousy. I`ve never had to deal with it before and the fact that he was 'the bachelor' and he had tons of lap dances is driving me crazy! Hopefully your right - and I`ll forget it in a few days.
By the way - both groups met at pollyesters later that night- all the guys had bought me a 'souvenir' tshirt from hooters- Like I need a reminder! It was cute though. And we did have a great time.

Jen it sounds to me like you have nothing to worry about. Sounds like it's a bunch of guys with a sense of humor to pick you up the shirts. (and also some sensitivity - knowing that you were probably a little uncomfortable) These bachelor parties usually consist of a lot of nice guys and a FH - all who think they have to do this dumb ritual to the hilt. Forget it - nobody's lap dance can compare to 4 years of a relationship!

I have no problems with the strip clubs...I hear things that go on there, but I don''t worry. (and the more classy ones...have bouncers that won''t let you touch the girls)
and I don''t view lapdances as that bad...think of all the guys butts and schlongs in your face...

Jen- Get Over It....
Come 'on..You are marrying this guy, there shouldn't be a doubt or a thought in your head about any stripper or lap dance or WHATEVER. You get the point, personally if I had a choice as to whether my husband went to a club or a strip joint, I would perfer he go to a stip joint....you want to know why?....Women in strip clubs are getting paid for what they are doing, women in dance clubs are genuinely looking to hook up!, Trust me if your guy or any guy needs to pay for it, then your marrying the wrong person. I may be getting a little away with myself but I'm sure you already did that to yourself in your own head. Don't worry about it! You are only making it worse. By the way I am married!. Good Luck.

I agree w/ Nubride...
She makes sense. I feel the same way. If he is going to go out and you know about it rather than lying to you what difference does it make? This is what I see it as with my FH- he goes out has a little fun with his friends and comes home to me. No one else but me. I know my FH and he wouldn't spend money on getting his car fixed, let alone get his groove on with a girl he can't even touch!
JenT-If they really didn't want you to know what happened and say something did happen, why would they tell you what occurred? Does that make any sense? Would it even make sense for men to try to concoct a story to make themselves all look good? I don't think so. They don't know how to lie. And after going to a strip club their minds are everywhere else but making up stories. Don't waste your time pondering over this. You have other things to be more concerned about-YOUR WEDDING. The biggest day of your life. Cheer up and think of what you and your FH will be doing after this. Once your honeymoon comes around you will be saying strip club what? What is that place? You will be having your own fun. Don't worry :-)
