Please help!! Favors...

Original post by JAME0801

OK I'm getting married in 39 days, yes, I said 39 days and I have no idea what to do for favors. We are on a very tight budget and having about 100-120 people.

I've been to all the websites but I just feel like the ones in the 1.50-2.00 range pp are so cheap looking..

I'm defintely willing to do a DIY but I need help!!

Any suggestions??

If you want inexpensive, do candy. Everyone likes it, or can give it to someone who likes it, and you can always wrap them up in those tulle rounds with a little bit of ribbon. I think candy is nicer than some tiny tchotche that half the guests will leave behind.

>>>What about these picture coasters?

Uh, do you really want to know that people will be putting drinks down on your face forevermore?

favorwarehouse.com is good also for DIY look at theknot.com or even saveoncrafts.com. If you weren't so far away I would help that is what I do here in Utah, I make wedding decorations and favors at home. Hope these sites will help.

Thank you everyone! I have a question...If I order something like a picture frame or coasters, is it cheesy to give one per couple? My coordinator at my RH asked me if my favors were individual or per couple and to be honest I never really thought about it! I guess that means people do it per couple?

If you are doing something like that I would say per couple, candy or anything edible I would do per person... up to you!

I agree. If it is something edible I would def. do per person, but if it something that can be shared (like coasters or bottle stoppers) you can do per couple.
