Please Help I'm supposed to go looking at Halls today and I don't know where else to go!

This is my third weekend of looking and I really don't know where else to go! We are looking for some place in Nassau County, that holds around 150-175, is about 80-90pp in May of '05(I have come to realize this may have to change), has good food, and is tastefully decorated. Here is where we've been:
~Leonards of Great Neck (liked it didn't love)
~Russo on the Bay (to far and to $$)
~Jericho Terrace *Top pick (isn't 8:15-1:15 kinda late for a Fri.? some have to travel far)
~Westbury Manor (didn't really like, maybe it was that peacock running free)
~North Ritz Club (nice but a little to $$)
~Milleridge Inn (not my FI style and don't make min.)
~ Fox Hollow *Top Pick (Don't make the min for big room and haven't seen small room yet)
~Chataeu Briand (not my style but I still liked it, still in consideration)
~The Riviera (didn't really like, maybe it was the lady that works there)

Please help, they are all starting to look the same!

My best friend just booked the Huntington Town House for 11/05, so I don't think she'd appreciate that (especially since i'd be before her), but thanks for the suggestion!

Have you looked at this website? It might help: Catering Halls

Also, you may want to just look at halls in Suffolk anyway; some of them may not be too far from where your ceremony is going to be. People really don't mind driving a little.....

Did you look at Woodbury Country Club? It's right by Crest Hollow and Fox Hollow.

Woodbury Country Club would be in your price range and it is pretty.

Also, Swan Club

Sail Harbor in Bayville - I've never been to a function there but they are run by the same people as the Carlton so I would think the food would be good. There's also the Swan Club and the Roslyn Claremont Hotel (I know the food is good here - it's the same chef as their restaurant and that food is outstanding!).

I'm kind of partial to Bridgeview Yacht Club since I got married there 3 weeks ago:)

It's in Island Park (right near the Long Beach bridge)

I think for a June wedding its $85/pp (?)..the restaurant is tastefully decorated - nice cherry wood bar, hardwood floors and their biggest room accommodates up to 300 (comfortably).

Good luck on your search!

I am getting married at the Jericho Terrace on 7/22/05 and we have the time slot for 7-12.. do they already have a wedding booked for that day? WE didnt want to do the later time because of some of the older guests and it may be too late for them, but if you have a lot of people traveling, they may stay in a hotel anyway.. see what you can do, but i am partial for the Jericho Terrace

Douglaston Manor is nice and has different size rooms. Ask for Thomas! He is awesome to deal with!
