please help !! larkfield /woodbury cc question

Ok ladies i really need your help on this one.. i have my wedding booked for Larkfield Manor on Nov. 13th 2010. Unfortunatly my guest list is growing much bigger than i expected , and i dont think the place will be able to fit the amount of people we are having... So i went to Woodbury Country club and they pretty much matched what i was getting at larkfield for the same date.... so my questions are
1 . what is the penalty for cancelling a year in advance for suffolk county ?
2. i Heard they were building condos on wcc site but yet they are booking well into 2010 and 2011..
and anyone been there ? food ? service? what did u think?
im sorry for all the questions but im having a meltdown right now !!!!!!!! thanks so much for the help ! bc im ready to cancel every thing and elope im serious!!!!!!

I can answer both of your questions!

I cancelled a hall in Suffolk and the rule is you get everything back by $250 up until 6 months prior to the wedding. You need to send them a letter, have it certified and sent to them cancelling your date, and make sure they send you a refund check. I actually had to go to the BBB in order to get my money, but it wasn't with Larkfield.

I then booked with WCC 'Andrew' and everything was great. I had a May 2009 wedding there and I have pics in my album. I suggest doing the vinnessee hour if you are doing it, altho if you wait till your final meeting they through it in for half price and you get an extra hour.

They were planning on building condo's until the economy fell apart and then they decided to become W events and basically outsource vendors if you choose that route. The place is great and don't listen to the rumors.
I can be assistance in either of these issues so feel free to FM me.

If they were at one point planning to build condos then they weren't rumors...
