Please help. Less than 30 days and really not happy with my hair.

OK, so I've used the same stylist for 13 years now. She didn't want to do a trial until about a month before the wedding. I'm so not happy with the results and might have to not wear the tiara and get fancy clips instead.

Don't mind the horrible faces I'm making. I was exhausted from work and it was last Friday.

Should I ditch the tiara?

I'd like to go straighter (so my hair looks longer) and not bring so much hair off my face. I think it makes me look old and my face long.

What should I do?

Oh, the first pic is of me at my shower how I normally wear my hair.

Opinions please.

Why dont you try and updo.. you may be surprised and like it

It's tough o see, but I like it. For a better comfort level, go back and get another trial (especially if you buy the clips, but the tiara is pretty). If you still don't like it when it's straighter, have her try an updo. You've been so loyal to go to the same stylist for 13 years, she owes it to you to make you feel comfortable and confident!!

Thanks ladies. I definitely don't want to do an updue. I'm 34 and I think it makes me look older. Also FH loves it when my hair is down. I want to look like myself on my wedding day

My latest idea is to wear more of it down like Jessica Simpson and Carmen Electra. I think I need more hair framing my face.

I think it may be the tiara. It's very thick. It's kind of hard to see the pics. How about a loose half up half down look so you have some hair around your face?

I agree I would ditch the tiara and go for a softer look. How about something like this with a pretty sparkly pin in the back on the side? Barrons has really pretty hair pins for $6 each or so. I would also go for another trial so you feel more at ease.

If you are going for that style, I would go with a smaller or no tiara. Good luck and post pics of your next trial.

KB... I found those pics on line when I went back through the mega long hair thread... I think it's up to 17 pages now

I'm thinking of something like that. I really love the tiara and maybe it's just the hair... not crazy about the severe part and how much she gathered up.

If it can't be adjusted to something loser than I'll go loser and get the clips.

I really wanted to wear my tiara... Maybe I'll just wear it when I'm teaching

Can you exchange it for one that's a little smaller? I had to get a smaller one because it didn't work with my hairstyle.

i dont think its the tiara i think the problem is she gave you a'curl' and you wanted a soft wave! tell her! it is your big day!!!!!!! you should feel like a princess!!! Bring her pics of jessica simpson and carmen electra!
