Because of the track record that *coughcough* some people on FH's side have, I need to lasso the wording of the response cards properly.
I MUST MUST MUST include something like
'Four seats have been reserved for you'
and then have their names, followed by the accept/decline option...and then I should still have a '# of guests attending' line, right? Just in case only 2 of the 4 can make it or whatnot.
Can someone give me examples of this?
Because if we don't word it properly, people are going to respond with 7 guests for 2 invited, like I did to Roz

I think that sounds like a great idea and not rude at all, it just clarifies things! I was WISHING I would have done this but didn't think of it until after the invites went out. I think what you're suggesting sounds great, but I don't have a picture of it written out on an invite (although I'm sure someone here will ).

Re: Please help me be polite, yet stern.
Someone posted her invites on the BHB and had a nice note at the bottom of her RSVP card....look on that board it said something like 'space is limited so please responde with the number of seats' I dunno but definitely look on the BHB..i think it was Jayla something that posted it
If you are concerned that people will bring their kids, it may also help to put something indicating that it is an adult reception.

Awesome, thank you ladies!!!
Keep 'em coming if anyone else has ideas
i originally wanted to include ___ of ___ guests will be attending (instead of just number attending)....but my invite person said it was too much
thankfully, we didnt have issues!! but if you are expecting more issues with RSVPs, you might want to consider this for some extra 'stern-ness'

Nah, kids are cool to come to the wedding.
It's more like people who think that they're welcome to bring whoever the eff they want.

Good luck with this Kris, I tried to control the number of guests included on the invitation and it still didn't work. I hope you have a better experience with this one than I did.

I have no suggestions, just hugs in advance
