I want to get my mom one of these quilts from personal creations but I am not sure which one. Instead of doing family pictures, I want to do an entire quilt of Kenny (her fiance who passed) so she can have it near her always. Which one do you think I should have made up. Please let me know!
I think it's depends on her style. If she is an earth tones person, the second one, but if she's more of a pinky person, the top one. (Can we say, duh, Rachel? Sorry!) Personally, I like the layout of the top one better.

I agree with Rachel that I like the layout of number 1 better. Very nice quilts. Where are they from?

You know your mom, but personally, something like that would just make me really sad. And I don't know if I'd want to be covered in pictures of passed loved ones. Would she really use it (as a blanket) or hang it? or have it out for display? or just put it away?
I think the gesture is wonderful, I'm just not sure of the delivery...(sorry!)

My mom loves things like this and for her I am sure this would give her comfort. Its not going to be all of people she has lost...just Kenny, thats her personality..what comforts one doesnt some other people.
I like the colors of the 2nd one best...but I know my mom would like 1 better...so its a persoanl decision

I like the creative layout of #1 more, but they are both so different that youd be able to better decide which suits her more... I like rachel's descriptions..
