Please help me coordinate

I totally scuk at color coordinating.. please help me..

I am changing into blue and gold outfit for the reception.. so I spoke to my florist said she'll add some blue flowers and some peacock feathers to bring out the blue from dress and make the place all matchy matchy.. she'll put a red orchid in the stem of the tall cp's just to give it the added oomph..

ok now color issues.. my RH said the table cloth is ivory and the napkins can be changed to whatever color, and he suggested gold napkins because I was talking about doing a blue runner to elongate the table..

so the question is would blue runner on ivory table cloth with gold napkins look odd or out of place?? my outfit is made of blue and gold crystals, but that on a table!??! and I have no clue where to get a runner either, and whether to match it my dress.. I'm scared it will so tacky..


Or should I just leave it be.. ivory table cloth, gold or ivory napkins and the cp's.. and stop giving myself agita..

IMO you should just stick to the blue accents in your CP's and table runner. Leave the table cloths ivory and napkins gold. I think that would look very nice.HTH

Try to relax. One of my dearest friends was just married 11/4/07 (the picture of FH & I you see to the left was taken at her wedding) and she tells me...'breathe' all of the time. Everything will be wonderful !! Keep things simple. Ivory table cloth w/ gold napkins sounds so pretty. Skip the runner and the blue votives too. They may be too much to try and match.

I agree with the others, get rid of the blue runner

also, did you actually see what the gold napkins look like? Sometimes gold cloth may not look the same as gold in other materials

thank you ladies.. i just ran it by mom and she thought i was nuts..

i just hit the 3 month mark and i think i went nuts.. so definetly NO runner, and i'm going to go check out the gold napkins, if it doesn't look good then, i'll just stick with the regular napkins..

until 2 weeks ago, i wasn't thinking of floral centerpieces, i was planning on some candles or something.. so yes, i should calm down and breathe..
