Hi Last week I went to Bridal Couture of Manhasett and fell in love with this gown, unfortunately the sales girl wasn't the nicest and would'nt tell me the designers name. It's a strapless ivory satin ball gown with a little pleated ruffle trim at the neckline and pressed pleated trim along the bottom. The bodice has beading near the top and along the waist. I know i did a horrible job describing it!! But any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Gosh, I have no Idea but I would try going into the Wedding Salon of Manhasset and ask them..they have all the high end designers that were probably at the store you went to and may be able to help. Hope this helps!

I would go back to the store. I took pics of my dress. I told them I wanted to show my mom who is OOT.

i know alot of girls who took pics with their camera phones, but since you don't have a pic......you could go on the website for the store.. http://www.bridalcouturemanhasset.com then look at the designers they carry and go to each of the designers website and look at their dresses.....this could take awhile......but it might work! Good luck!!!

Sounds like it might be an Alvina Valenta dress. Is it this?

I went to a bridal salon and the sales lady did the same thing to me. I fell in love with the dress, but her prices were way too much so I wanted to get it from someone else but she kept telling me that she does not know who the designer was.

I was just going to suggest this. The wedding salon does not cut the tags out. They actually have the dress together by designer! I would never buy a dress from a store that wouldn't let me know who designed it. It could be Joe Schmo and they could charge you $10,000. No way!!! Good luck in your search.
Why don't you try the knot.com. You can search dress by design (skirt, neckline, sleeves)

Here is the link to the law regarding labeling of wedding gowns. Perhaps you should storm the store with it in hand and threaten to call the authorities if they don't tell you!!
I think I've seen one just like that! Are the pleats in the back on the bottom of the dress kind of under the split in the train? I know I have seen it I'll to find the pic for you.
