My fh is in the reserve (USCG) and he is thinking to wear his uniform for the wedding but he is not sure if he is going to wear tuxedo or uniform.
I am thinking toward to tuxedo. and there is no-one from uscg can come to our wedding, so do you think it will look awkward if he is the only one who wear the uniform.
What do you guys thinking..

i say let him wear the uniform. It's something to be proud of. Anyone can wear a tuxedo. It means something to have a uniform! besides whats sexier than a man in his uniform?

I think that men look great in their uniform and it's almost more special that he would be the only one in uniform. I like the idea of a uniform but tux's are nice as well!

Maybe he could wear the uniform for the ceremony and tux for the receoption or reverse that?

Definitely have him wear it!! He's going to look so good in the uniform!! BUT, of course, you should do what you feel more comfortable with!!!

i think that he should wear the uniform. i'm not sure though but isn't it kind of required or recommended that they wear their uniform when dressing up for occasions like this??? my uncles who were in the navy always wore their dress blues to any wedding in our family

yeah for real... tuxes are great but he earned that uniform and he should be SO proud of it and whenever i see someone in their uniform not only do i want to thank them for what they do for our country but i'm so impressed!!!

I think if he really wants to wear the uniform he should. Who doesn't love a man in uniform?! HONESTLY! You'll be the only one in a wedding dress that day, why not let him be the only one in a uniform?!

I would say to have him wear it for ceremony & then change into tux. How many guys could wear a MC uniform...wow! Something definitely to be proud of, esp. if he truly wants to wear it.
