Please help me make up my mind! Which color yarmulke?

Please help me make up my mind! Which color yarmulke?

I've pretty much narrowed it down to:

A) Black with flower design

pros: blends in better (FH's family isn't Jewish), more effectively covers bald spots , more likely to be worn again

cons: i used the exact same ones for my bat mitzvah, not necessarily weddingy, maybe too dark for a formal but still afternoon wedding?

B) White or ivory with flower design

pros: 'weddingy,' different from the ones i did for my bat mitzvah, possibly more appropriate for an afternoon wedding in august, i prefer the look of the white

cons: stands out more, guys would probably prefer the black

I originally considered blue as well, but I'm not crazy about how it looks

Thoughts?

what about black suede?
Thats what i did

I am not jewish nor a guy, but i dont think a man would want to wear anything flowered.

The flower design isn't very obvious, and people loved them at my bat mitzvah so I'm not too worried about that aspect. Worst case, they just wear it for the ceremony but I've seen people wearing mine again at other events

I'd go for the white ones. We ordered plain white cheap satin ones with our names inside. I decided this was the one thing I wasn't going to stress about, and handed the job to FH, who ordered on yarmulkes.com!

Maybe do a mix of black and white?

We did plain black satin, so I'd go for black.

ETA: If you did black floral for your bat mitzvah, I think you should do something different for your wedding. I know you said everyone liked them, but i'm just thinking that because this is a whole new event, why not switch it up.
