I would say the Wednesday...you're paying for A LOT of food...people may be too stuffed (or sickened by their gluttony) to indulge the Friday after.

anyway, it's like everything else, those that want to go will go regardless...

YOUR DAY...YOU pick what's best for you! maybe her bridge club will make her feel bad about it or something....but then again, if it's not one reason it will be another- GO FOR IT and enjoy your long weekend honeymoon.

ok, i'm the minority - but i'd do a friday. after the holiday, people will be a little less stressed about cooking turkey and crap the next day, you know?

but, if you did the wednesday before - i think people would just blow off the holiday or scale back to just a few family members.

ok, so i'm no help whatsoever. but people will get through it whatever you decide to do, they'll just have to find a way

i say do it wednesday! as long as you send save the dates you should be in good shape..it even gives families a chance to get together for thanksgiving, because they will be flying in for your wedding

I would do it the Friday after. A few reasons...

1. people have to work on Wenesday, most people (that I know anyway) have off on the Friday after Thanksgiving
2. The day before a holiday seems to be very busy for people
3. if you have OOT guests, they would have to take off from work.
