Please help me plan-Im lost

Fox Hollow is booked, church is being a pain in my a$$, but that will be worked out soon.
What do I do next? Photography?

What is the logical way to do this?

Are you having a band or DJ? I would book your band now, and then photographer.

I think you should determine your budget for both vendors and then start researching and meeting with them.

Also, start looking for a gown as some tend to take up to 12 months to come in.

definitely- we had to change our date to get the photographer and dj we wanted- i would start researching and narrow down to a few then set appts.

fox hollow has free wedding planners (Perfect Wedding Planners) that can help you with your planning. u can call them at fox hollow and set up a meeting. they also have a great check list of what should be done in monthly order if u want to do it yourself. you can also get those monthly checklists from some bridal magazines. they are VERY helpful!

i'd recommend doing photography and music first, then look for a florist, make-up and hair, dress, officiant, ...

it's never too early to book and buy. if u start now you'll have more of a chance to look around and see what u like best.

the vendors i had the most problem finding available was actually hair and make-up and i was booking with 8 months in advance. so i would def. book some trials asap.

I booked the photographer next. I am picture crazy and wanted to make sure that was done. Then I booked my DJ. on to the videographer next.

I would say either the DJ or the photographer. We knew what we wanted in terms of the DJ so we booked right away. The photo took a little bit more research.

Have your tentative guest list and possible 'B' list people to determine if your hall is big enough and to figure out how many favors, centerpieces, and any other DIY projects you'll need (cry packs, programs, menus, etc)

You need:
Photographer
Videographer
Limos
Band or DJ
Florist
Hotel reservations for you and OOT guests
invitations
Your gown
BM's dresses
wedding rings

I would find a photographer next. I think that the photographer and band/DJ book really early.

Do photography bc if you like them, you dont want them to get booked up. Then go for your dress,

i would also do band/dj, and then photo - i just started looking for photographers and everyone i've met with can still handle my day (a month before yours), but i'm not sure that would be true if i had waited on the band... they tend to book up more quickly.

Thanks for the advice....I am doing both dj and photo in the next two weeks. I am pretty sure about the dj, still reseaching photograhy.

DJ and photography definitely, but start looking at dresses too. It can take awhile to find the one you want, and some take months to order.

I would do photo next. Definitely start researching photography and your band or DJ but start interviewing photo asap.

you're doing it just like me...first the hall...the church is working out...got the dress next....then the band (start going to watch them live....we watched like 10 bands and ended up going with the first one we saw...but at least we know what is out there)

then the photography....and the flowers....

i am officially taking a break from contracts all together for a while!!! I can't belive we have already contracted for sooo much in just like three months...ugh
