please help me relax

I emailed one of my BM (FH sister) yesterday to find out if they knew when they would be coming here to LI. They live upstate. I am trying to plan RD and as most of you I'm sure know most restaurants wont do a Friday night but a Thursday. She emailed me back that they will be coming Wed night or Thursday morning. Thursday they have to pick up tuxes. She also said that she thought her husband & BIL (both GM) were planning to get the guys together for BP on Thursday.

I emailed her back after talking to FMIL and told her that we wanted to get BP & immediate family together for dinner before the wedding (a rehearsal dinner without the rehearsal) and maybe the guys can do something during the day Thursday or Friday. I had no idea they were planning it so close to the wedding but of course no calls have been made yet to plan. One of the GM is away until the Wednesday morning before.

BTW, I get along great with all my FIL's

Please help me stop stressing so I can go & enjoy my b-day & bach-party weekend!!!

First of all... Happy birthday!
Maybe a massage will help. The day before my wedding, I was very tence and I got a massage. From that point on I was cool as a cucumber.

Remember this wedding is about you and your FH and things will work out. I realize these outside factors throw you for a loop, but as of right now, this weekend, it's your -bday and your bach. Its all about you.
Does you FH know about all of these plans with the people from upstate?

They are adults and know they need to do their part for the wedding. Plan something for the thursday and tell her this is when it is. I am sure she'll be there.

My sister was procastinating with purchasing airfare for my e-party, I gave up and let her do it on her own. (plane is booked)

Not yet.....he is at work & I just got the email & I won'tsee him until Very Early Monday morning.

Dunno if they want to surprise him so I don't know if I should say anything.

I suggested that FH would probably LOVE to go to a ball game since he hasn't been to one all year!!!

Im sorry you are having such a hard time!! First off..I would simply tell them that a thurs night party isnt going to happen..you are having the RD, end of story, they maybe should have consulted your first..its your wedding. Second..happy birthday!!!!
Dont let anyone stress you out..you enjoy this time in your life!!!!! Have a glass of wine, maybe more than just a glass and know that this isnt about anyone but YOU and your fiance!! YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED..everything else is trivial!!!

I agree with aliciahelene... you tell them the plan. I know you don't want to cause contraverary or stir up anything, but it is your wedding and your RD.
Also, if you FH isn't going to home until Monday, well then deal with it on Monday... why should you have to be driven crazy this weekend.
It's just a bump in the road and it will all pan out. I know so easy for me to say, but I just want you to enjoy this weekend

I spoke to FMIL & she said to just plan what I am doing & the guys will have to figure something else out or not do anything. Which would mean no BP for FH which believe it or not he would be ok with. He is very quiet.
