PLEASE HELP ME WITH A DJ DECISION!!!

I just got engaged about a month ago and decided to tackle the dj thing first. I don't want all the smoke and props. I just want a classy dj that will play good music and get the crowd dancing. So we met with Vinny from High Voltage tonight. We got a great vibe and the $$$$ is great. I am just hesitant about a few things.

1. I am not sure how his equipment will look. He has this black wall that he stand behind and it has this arch that I think may look a little wierd.

2. I am not sure if his Silver vest is too flashy

3. Are his prices too good to be true? Some people say you get what you pay for.

4. He didn't show us a video of him. He said he doesn't do showcases because everyone wants different things. I guess this goes for showing video too. Do you think this is bad?

Does anyone have any experience with Vinny, used him themselves or been to a wedding where he dj'd. Please help me out. I feel that a DJ is so important and it's such a hard decision to make. I may be just over analysing this. I have been known to do that. Thanks

I would suggest to go see a few more DJs so you can have a comparison.
