So I've had my STD's forever. I am waiting to send them out because I am unsure if I should put myhotel info in with the STD's. They are from two hotels. One is on a nice card and the other is on a flimsy piece of paper. Should I go through the hassle of going to Staples and printing the hotel info on a nice card? Or should I just put everything in there? Or should I even forego the hotel info altogether with the STD?
Also for the actual invitation which won't be sent out for awhile, do I throw the hotel info in there again? I have so many questions regarding invites, but I thought I'd start here. Please help with feedback and etiquette. Thanks so much!

Can you set up a website with all the information? Thats what I did and just included the website address on nice paper inside the std. Otherwise, if you have a lot of out of town guests, its completely fine to put hotel information in their std and then again in their invite...

I am adding the hotel info in with the STD and will add it again with the invitation. There is a 6 month gap between STD's and invitations. I wouldn't pay the extra money to have the hotel info reprinted. JMO.

i had the hotel information on the save the date -and i am putting it on the invitation beacue i did not send to everyone and as a reminder - but i also listed transportion information
STDs are very informal usually- i wouldn't waste the money and send both hotle flyers
For the invitation- i make it nicer because it is more formal

Just put the flimsy one in with the nice one. The people who don't need the info will toss it and those who do just need the info - they probably won't care how it looks.
I had the same issue. I just made photocopies of one of them at work and the other one was a nicer paper the hotel printed. I put them in the STDs b/c I figured most people want to book the room in advance and the invitations went out much closer to the wedding date. We had a lot of OOT people invited, so I figured they would want to book the rooms when they booked their flights.

Im not sure if there's a set way, so I'll just let you know how I did it. With the std's, I sent out a small postcard with both hotels information on it. I didnt bother with the cards they gave me. This way all my OOT and bridal party got the information. I dont plan to resend the hotel info in with the invitation. I want to keep the 'clutter' as minimal as possible in the invitatin itself.

I think I am just going to send the 5x7 Garden City hotel card with the wingate inn piece of paper and directions to the GCH with my STD all in one envelope. Since it is informal I'd rather save all the formal stuff for the invitation. I just thought it was too much clutter.
What transportation info are you listing? I don't have any of that. People have to find their own transportation from church to reception.
