Please help me with my veil choice!

Please help me with my veil choice!

I am wearing an Eve of Milady wedding gown that has a very detailed strap-less bodice and a long train. I am getting an up-do and want the veil to stick out the bottom of my up-do. I am planning on wearing the veil all night. Should I get a veil that is:

1) Elbow-length

OR

2) Finger tip length

Any pics would be greatly appreciated!

Also - what size...in tiers - right? So confused!

Is it a very full ballgown?

I think elbow length veils sometimes look a little odd with a ballgown because the veil sort of draws the eye up from the ballgown (I don't think that makes any sense...sorry).

I would go with the fingertip length if your skirt is very big...

If your dress has a lot of detail I would go with an elbow-length veil...

I would say fingertip length

My dress was very detailed on top and I wanted something really plain, so I ended up getting a plain fingetrip veil. I was going to get elbow length, but I was wearing it under my hair. I used one layer and lifted it over as a blusher and it became approx elbow length.

When trying on the elbow length and flipping it over I felt it was too short in front.

Heres a pic. Id try some on at your bridal salon with your dress to check what length you like.

I'd go with the elbow length, especially if your dress has a lot of detail.....

I would go for a finger tip. I find that short veil with a ball gown make the whole look even 'poofier'. The finger tip would balance it out. I would go for a single one with no 'poofiness' to it.

ETA for tier: I would go for one or two tiers.

I have an EOM same thing and I am wearing elbow length because I dont want to hide the long train and all the work.

My vote is for fingertip. I think it will balance the dress nicely. Here is a pic of my dress (sorry it's not the best pic)

I personally think fingertip looks better than elbow

Mine was waterfall, 2 layer fingertip. Waterfall just meant is was poufy. Here's some pics. Plain veil, no edge or crystals.

Edited: I planned to wear it all night but did not. Wanted to show off my updo and my style *does* tend to get in your face a bit...
