Please help me w/quotes for friends wedding??!?

Hey girls!!

one of my BMs is recently engaged, and is hyperventilating about even THINKING of trying to plan so i said id ask u all for help!

...she knows that she needs a place that can hold at least 250 ppl, and her budget isn't really too big...ill guess and say around $70 - $90 pp for a saturday night...

does anyone know of a place in suffolk/nassau that size within that budget for a saturdy night? she doesn't have a date yet so im not looking for a specific time of year, just definitely 2010

i know the fox hollow in the off-months is in that range.. march was like 65pp

Try Verdis- they have a really good price and a nice room that can definetly fit the 250 confortably

I second Sunset Harbor in Patchogue...it was nice there and its in that price range. Also try The Meadow Club. I ended up booking there and the room holds up to 300 ppl and that is def in the price range. Good Luck!

I would definitely recommend an 'off season' wedding (October to April). She can usually find places having 'winter specials' during those months. Also if she had a little in her budget I would recommend hiring a wedding planner. My FH and I did that and we were able to get awesome prices at venues.
