Hey all - ok here's the deal - all together including myself & my groom (excluding kids) we have an 18member bridal party...Now, in a perfect world, we'd LIKE to have everyone together in one limo...and we're opting out for a party bus...i'm just not crazy about it. I KNOW there has to be something out there to hold the amount of people we have!!! My fiance's boss had an escalade limo with an extension on the back that held 28 passengers but of course he cant remember the name of the company, and any other company i've checked out has 24pass. as the max(and we all know they pack u in like sardines). I just want to be comfortable and be with everyone for our 45minute ride to the reception...PLLLEEEASE If anyone knows of ANYTHING that can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

We had quite a few people in our bridal party also. We opted for the limo bus since we had more than a 1/2 hour between the church and reception hall. Although the outside appearance wasnt as spectacular as a limo, the inside was extremely comfortable and luxurious. We also checked out the extended limos including the escalade and hummer, but since the seats are so low to the ground, I didnt feel they were too comfortable for the long ride. Anyway, to make a long story short, the bridal party LOVED the limobus. Just a heads up for you though. The buses can be just as expensive as the limos, if not more. I feel your pain. We have 21 in our party (including us, excluding kids) and being all together in some kind of limo is one of the very few things my FH insists on for the wedding. We are probably going to have to go for the limo bus or trolley.
By the way...one of the limo companies we spoke to told us when they say a limo (for example) holds 22 passengers, they are counting the driver and front passenger seat, so it's actually even fewer people it can hold, ya know what I mean? And all have suggested that you go at least a few people bigger on the capacity than are actually in the party. Which is why we are stuck.

That's interesting that when they give you the passenger number it includes the driver and passenger seat!

I rented a 33 passenger bus from Elite Transportation -- web address is litransportation.com. They also have a 25 passenger. Definitely more cost effective than limos for everyone.
I know they have a 20 passenger limo (we had that) and a 24 passenger excursion. Id give them an A++++ One of my FAVORITE vendors!

a limo bus is SO MUCH FUN!!! johnny&maur had one and it was great. we could all walk around as the bus was driving, it had a flat screen tv, the works! yes, it's a bus, but it's a LIMO bus--big difference and so much fun!
