Please help!- Officiant NEEDED!

Please help!- Officiant NEEDED!

I desperately need an officiant that will perform a wedding at Fox Hollow. Can anyone recommend one? I would rather not 'randomly' call around, but go with suggestions from others.

Thanks for your help!

Have you asked the hall what officiants they recommend? What type of officiant are you looking for?

I booked Judge Ohlig. He works out of the Riverhead Courts but lives in Northport. I'm at work or I'd have his info for you. FM me if you'd like it.

FH has someone, but again, that is someone the hall is recommending, as 'their' recomended service... so i'm sure it's not a 'true' recommendation.

i guess i'm trying to have it somone who used someone already, and had a good feeling about it, or that they were totally comfortable with them... I duno, i guess I feel wierd not being in my Church, so I don't know them...

A justice of the peace would be good, but FH wants more 'minister/pastor' type, religious, than jugde/JOP...????

hmm, actually - my step-father is an officiant - yay for on-line courses!

When we were joking about saving money we said he was going to be our limo (he has a fun '82 mercades convertible he could drive us in) our officiant, the photographer (he's pretty good at it) and the step-father of the bride.

Though, i'm not sure how appropriate he'd be, he has a very interesting sense of humor...

My dad did the mail order thing... i was like 'dad- do you even know how to spell the word God?!' he's even more of a smartass than me and said 'luckily, there was no spelling test to pass the course'

Sue- me and Debs dads can be your officiants!! Theyre guys... so keith should be accepting of that!

Hey, as long as they wear real tuxes, and not those Tuxedo t-shirts, How could you go wrong?!

i think my step-dad covers up his bad spelling with his bad handwriting

Buy my mom - and her trusty dictionary and grammer books were always there to lend a helping hand.

Re: Please help!- Officiant NEEDED!

We met with Rev. Michael Callahan (believe he's a vendor on here) because the one recommended by the hall was already booked. He also came recommended by the booked rev's wife who is also a wedding planner.

Rev. Callahan seemed nice. FH liked him. But he also seemed a little pricey....BUT his wife is a massage therapist and he throws in a free complimentary massage. Other than the price he seemed very nice
