PLEASE HELP! Questions About Petals for Petal Cones
Can anyone tell me how many petals they bought to fill their petal cones? I'm intending to buy/make 100 cones but I haven't a clue as to how much I should buy to fill them!
Oh and if anyone knows where I can buy the petals cheap (other than National Wholesale Floral b/c I live too far away to get them) I would appreciate it! I'd even purchase them from the internet.

I'm making about 50 for 100 or so guests - someone did 30 and said it wasn't enough for her small wedding. I don't know how many petals I'm getting b/c my florist said she will be getting an assortment of colors.
As for where to purchase the petals for cheap - www.orientaltrading.com = I was going to go here until my florist thru them in for free b/c I have a small wedding party.
Also, Michaels and AC Moore sell them.

My florist supplied the petals for the cones...maybe you can ask your florist if they can supply too, or ask how much you would need. HTH.

my florist supplied them also...I made 65 petal cones for 120 people.. I think 1 cone for every 2 is more that enough.

I think I'm going to ask my florist about getting them 'thrown in'. It seems like that is the norm anyway. I did ask when we first met with them and they wanted to charge a lot of money for them, but maybe I'll bring it up again.
