PLEASE HELP . . . ring bearer??

Hey ladies. . . question, what is the appropriate age for a ring bearer?? Is there an age limit? My flower girl is 5 and I wasn't going to do a ring bearer because I don't know any boys that I thought were young enough . . . but then my FH said why not ask the flower girl's brother. . . he just turned 9. . . is that too old?? I'm sure the wedding police won't come arrest us. . . and I realize it's not a cardinal sin but will it look odd? Keep in mind, my 10 year old daughter will be my MOH and FH's 15 year old son will be his BM. . . his other son (13) and daughter (10) will also be in the bridal party. . . SO, obviously we're very kid friendly FH was contemplating last night that maybe we could set some kind of record for most children in a bridal party Anyway. . . the FG and her brother are like family. . . so I'd love to have both of them. . .just wonder if he's too old Any thoughts?? TIA

We're having my Godson, my nephew as the ring beared (3yrs old) and my FH's nephew at the Jr. Groomsman (9y/o). My nephew is walking down with his parents, who are in my bridal party. My FH's nephew will walk down with his mom.

Are you worried that a 9 y/o walking with a 5 y/o will look weird? I think you're fine... and the fact that they're brother and sister is cute!!

I dont think it's too old !! I actually think its really nice that you are having all the kids in the bp!!
There is really no set age for these things anyway,.
I dont know any boys there are all girls in my family so I am just having fg's.
Its really all about what you want for your day.
