The RSVP date on my cards is 2/25...we did it early b/c ppl su*k at rsvping..
Anywhoo...I am inviting some girls from work and I kept forgetting to ask for their addresses...so by the time I finally got them and printed the envelopes..then the holiday and no mail...its 2/19 and the RSVP date is 2/25
So I cant send them this!! I didnt get a 2nd set of rsvp cards b/c there was no b-list and we didnt need them and i dont want to pay $50 now to order more for just 2 invitations?
What do i do?
Send them and explain? (tacky, right?)
Or should I just print new ones on ivory cardstock with a new date?
TIA
Sincerely, The procrastinator

Re: Please help- RSVP card/date question??
I would sent the origional! Big deal if you didnt send them with the origional batch. They know that you recently got their addresses, so I think it is fine

I was gonna say the same thing, if they know you just got their info, I think it's fine and I wouldn't send an explanation. If you wanted to, you could verbally tell them after they are mailed, 'btw, since i only got your address recently i realize i didn't give you a lot of time to rsvp. just let me know by ____'

I agree... they know that you just got their info. Plus, if they are local, they should know right away if they can come or not... it's not like they need weeks to think about it.

Re: Please help- RSVP card/date question??
I had a similar situation- I just sent the original RSVP date and nobody said a word about it to me.
