please help tie my theme together, Im nuts lol

Ok I have a unique taste but I dont want to go over the top i need some suggestions how to tie my theme I have going as far as flowers.

As you know I am the feather centerpiece gal...

My dress

BM dresses

But in this color

My bouquet (I think)...here is where it gets tricky

I want something bright and vibrant for the girls to carry staying with hand tied although i cant find a pic these are from my collection to give you an idea.

Kind of purples, reds, yellows I guess although i am unsure if it will take away from my bouquet.

I am also unsure whether to have the girls also carry a bouquet that incorporates feathers like these........

but I dont know if these look nice only in light colors and would look silly in bright colors or not

I am so confused, any pics of bright bouquets please post them and any ideas of how to work my theme are so greatly appreciated.

You have made really nice and unique choices. I like the feathers on the table and incorporating them in the bouquets is really pretty. I think you can put feathers with any color bouquet as long as the color of the feathers blends with the darkest color in the boquet or the most dominant color in the bouquet.

ok, this is going to sound wild and you may all think i am nuts too, but have you thought about boas for your girls? i don't mean anything too crazy, but i think they would look great with those dresses! we are doing a 1920s theme and i was dying to fit in boas somehow, but it is a garden wedding in April so everyone told me it wouldn't work.

i will take a look at the Bo-Ks and get back. Good luck!

okay, i definitely like the feathers in the girls bo-ks. out of the pics you posted, i like the first and second feather ones the best! I believe those flowers are called camelias and they come in some fabulous bright colors, so you should be able to do the exact same bo-ks but with brighter colors. i like the camelia ones because they are a little smaller and i think the smaller ones will work nicely with the feathers and not take away too much from yours! it is going to be beatiful and unique! don't stress!!!

If you are going with the feathers, I think your BMs bouquets should have feathers too. I think the color combos you have chosen for the BMS dont really 'go' with your bouquet or the centerpieces. Soo...my suggestion is to a) choose one or two colors that work well with your bouquet and incorporate feathers into that OR b)choose one soft color like pink or off white for the Bms and use feathers in that too OR c) Have the BMs carry JUST FEATHER bouquets.

I definitely like the idea of tying the feather theme to the girls bouquets.... I like the bouquet that has the feathers underneath the flowers!

I agree with Stef. Why not have the BM's carry an off-white? It is neutral, soft and doesn't take away from their gowns or your theme. I think if you try to get too complicated it will look messy.
