PLEASE HELP W/ QUESTION-HAVE TO ORDER INVITES TONIGHT
My FMIL is divorced from my FFIL, but kept her married name. She wants her name on the invitations to be Mrs. xxxxx when I think it really should be Ms. xxxxx. Is it a big deal if I use Mrs.? I don't really want to fight with her about it. Does it look stupid?

I say you should pick your battles .... if she wants to be Mrs., then just let her.

I have Wedding Etiquette book.......I'll check & let you know
It doesn't say anything about it, but I don't think it's a big deal. A lot of divorced women still keep Mrs. with their ex's last name. I agree about picking your battles
