Please help! What would you do?
We are having a bit of a problem....
We can't get married in a catholic church because my FH is divorced so we are getting married in my grandfather's Lutheran church...I know the pastor well and he is great! He just told us that he is retiring and can't perform our ceremony. Supposedly, he has been looking for months for someone to replace him. He doesn't have anyone yet, but promises that someone will be there to marry us.
What if we don't like the new priest! And what if he doesn't find one until the week before our wedding!! Then we really have no choice on what we want to do!
We could make this easy and just get married at our reception hall but it is at Chateau Briand and the courtyard where the ceremony would be only has a wall separating it from Old Country Road!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
