Please help- when do you make your final photo/video payment?
I am sure this may vary from vendor to vendor- but, do you have to pay these guys in FULL before the wedding, even though you do not have the final product yet? I am just wondering for budget reasons- the more we could hold off till after the wedding, the better !ha.
I will call both my guys tomorrow and find out, but since I am planning this out of state I figured I would ask you ladies first!
(trying to save in the long distance calls!)

we need to pay 2/3 about 4 weeks before the wedding... the rest is due when we get the proofs...

My photographer (Artistic Images) and my Videographer (Wild Rose) get the final payment when I receive my album and proofs and my video/dvd. Thats whats written in my contract.

We paid everything except $1k that is due when we get our proofs back.

we dont pay a cent except the initial deposit till all the proofs are ready then they get half and half when the albums are ready

We payed 75% six weeks before which was last month and we will pay the rest when we get our proofs.
