please help with bachelor pary ideas/kids involved
Hi..both my fiance and I have been married before and he has a son who is 12 and I have two boys 10 and 11. Our wedding is only 26 people. immediate family and a few select friends. So last night, my mom and sis took me out to a really nice place and gave me gifts, even though I said I didnt want to do anything. As a result, the boys asked why noone does anything for the groom (their father)...so I decided to help them set up a party. I have been belly dancing for four years, so I thought about having a party with the boys and their dad at our house and have a belly dancer come to surprise my fiance, but the boys want to give him gifts. This is where I am stumped. Traditionally, bachelorette parties are more wild and I dont THINK gifts are involved. I coulod be wrong. I know all about blow up dolls....but dont really want my boys to know about them! hahhahaha But the boys REALLY want to give him gifts and celebrate with him. Can anyone help me with ideas for appropriate gifts..Im completely at a loss and have never had to plan a bachelorette party with my own children involved...its wierd for me..but I have to plan it, otherwise it wont happen and Im so proud of these young men that they want to do celebrate with him. Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate!!! Thank you so much

I think it is cute the boys want to do something for their dad. I wouldn't worry about whether or not their gift is 'bachelor' themed. What type of hobbies does your FH enjoy? Could the boys surprise him with tickets to a ball game or a concert or take him out for dinner and fun and Dave and Busters or someplace along those lines? I think your FH would appreciate any thoughtful gift the boys choose for him, don't stress over it!

I think its great that all the boys want to get involved!
Maybe have them buy him some funny stuff that isn't so naughty hehe..
Go to spencers and try to get some ideas. I know they have some statues of the bride dragging the groom to the alter and stuff like that...
I wish I had some better ideas, but I'm drawing a blank right now!
